This policy applies to our website (oneworld.tours), partner storefronts we host for registered agencies, our booking and inquiry forms, our chat assistant, and communication with our advisors by phone, email, or WhatsApp.
2. Data we collect
We collect only what we need to arrange your travel:
- Account data — name, email address, phone / WhatsApp number, and password (stored as a secure hash). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google.
- Travel identity data — passport number, nationality, date of birth, and visa-related documents, when required to book flights, hotels, visas, Umrah, or insurance for you and the travelers in your group.
- Booking and inquiry data — trip details (dates, destinations, passenger counts), budget preferences, special requests, quotations, invoices, and payment records.
- Communication data — messages you send through our contact forms, chat assistant, email, or WhatsApp, so our advisors can follow up on your requests.
- Technical data — IP address, approximate location derived from it, device and browser type, and session identifiers used to keep your account secure and detect suspicious sign-ins.
- Referral data — if you arrive through a partner or campaign link, we record the traffic source so partners are credited correctly.
3. How we use your data
- To provide quotations and arrange the travel services you request — flights, hotels, tours, packages, visas, insurance, and transfers.
- To create and secure your account, verify your identity by OTP, and keep you signed in across sessions and devices.
- To communicate with you about your inquiries, bookings, payments, schedule changes, and travel disruptions — including by WhatsApp where you contact us there or provide a WhatsApp number.
- To operate partner (B2B) storefronts and credit registered agencies for referred bookings.
- To send booking notifications you have opted into (for example browser push notifications).
- To prevent fraud and abuse, enforce our Terms of Service, and comply with legal obligations such as accounting and tax rules.
- To improve our services — always on the basis of aggregate usage, never by selling your personal data.
Our website chat assistant may use automated (AI-based) processing to answer common questions. Chat conversations are reviewed by our team when they lead to a booking or complaint, and are never used to make decisions with legal effect about you without human review.
4. Who we share data with
We share personal data only where necessary to deliver your booking:
- Travel suppliers — airlines, hotels, tour and transport operators, insurance providers, and visa processing authorities or embassies, strictly as needed to confirm the services you request. Passport details are shared only with the suppliers that require them.
- Partner agencies — if you book through a partner storefront, the partner sees the booking details needed to serve you.
- Service providers — hosting, database, media storage, email/SMS/OTP delivery, and IP-geolocation providers acting under our instructions.
- Authorities — where required by law, court order, or immigration and border-control requirements connected to your trip.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
5. International transfers
Because travel is international, your data may be processed in Oman, Pakistan, and the countries of the suppliers involved in your trip (for example Saudi Arabia for Umrah bookings, or the destination country of your visa application). Our hosting and database providers may store data in other regions. Wherever data goes, we require the protections described in this policy.
6. How long we keep data
- Booking, invoice, and payment records — kept as long as required by accounting and tax law (typically up to 10 years).
- Account data — kept while your account is active; deleted or anonymized after you ask us to close your account, except records we must retain by law.
- Inquiry and chat messages that do not lead to a booking — kept for up to 24 months, then deleted or anonymized.
- Session and security logs — kept for up to 12 months.
7. Security
We protect your data with encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords, short-lived access tokens stored in secure HTTP-only cookies, per-device sessions you can review and revoke from your account, OTP verification for sensitive actions, and role-based access controls that limit which staff can see customer data.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law in Oman, Pakistan, and your country of residence, you can:
- Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data (much of it directly in your account profile).
- Ask us to delete your account and data that we are not legally required to keep.
- Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent (for example push notifications).
- Complain to a data-protection authority where one has jurisdiction.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@oneworld.tours from the address linked to your account. We respond within 30 days.
9. Children
Our services are intended for adults. We process children’s data (for example a child’s passport details) only when a parent or guardian books travel for them.
10. Cookies
We use a small set of cookies for sign-in, security, and partner attribution. See our Cookie Policy for the full list and your choices.
11. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our services or the law change. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest version; material changes will be announced on the website or by email.
